what is letterpress?
Letterpress is a type of relief printing that leaves an impression in the paper. The subtle deboss of each letter creates a tactile, tangible experience that sets letterpress apart from modern off-set printing. Each design is made into a photopolymer plate which is then put on press and used to print each invitation. Every ink color is mixed in house by hand, each piece of of paper is hand fed on one of our antique printing presses. The act of letterpress printing is slow and steady, with intention and beauty. We are proud to offer this historic art form as our main print method.
